Organic Gardens
Organic gardening through sustainable practices is one way we strive to be self-sufficient in providing our family with fresh, nutrient dense produce. We start all our plants from heirloom seeds, growing from start to finish. Using crop rotation techniques, natural compost, natural pest control and companion planting we avoid the use of pesticides and chemicals. You can find both plant starts as well as fresh produce in our farm stand as well as products made with fruits, veggies, and herbs grown on the farm.
Poultry & Waterfowl
Chickens were the gateway animal into farming for us, as with many others. The flavor and nutrient density of fresh eggs just can’t be beat. We raise a variety of hens, one in every color I like to say! We also hatch eggs on the farm and have chicks available for purchase in the spring. In addition to chickens, we also raise Embden geese, a variety of ducks and coturnix quail. All varieties of eggs can be purchased in our farm stand as available.
Dairy Goats
Raising dairy goats has been the newest addition to our farm. Our herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats provides our family with delicious raw milk. Sourdough Breads & Baked Goods
Our market presence as a business began in the kitchen with simple, homemade breads using clean, organic ingredients. We offer a variety of sweet breads, cobblers, cookies and also a wide selection of artisan sourdough varieties. Click here to take a peak at our full bakery menu and pricing. Breads can be preordered on our store page for local pickup in the farm stand.
Honeybees
Italian honeybees are our little pollination assistants here on the farm. They are considered a top species for beekeeping due to their docile nature and general hardiness. Not only do they produce amazing honey, but they also ensure better crop pollination in our organic gardens. Products such as rendered beeswax, candles and raw honey is available seasonally for purchase in our online store page or in the farm stand.
Herbals
We offer a variety of herbal syrups, teas, salves all handmade and hand blended from organically grown herbs from the homestead. Our organic elderberry syrup, made with berries grown on the homestead and also honey from our bees, is a customer favorite. You can find elderberry syrup along with all of our tea and herbal salve blends available for purchase on our store page and also in our farm stand.
